On October 20-22, egbc.ca will undergo maintenance to refresh the website’s design elements, including the homepage. During the maintenance window, the website and access to your account will be offline.

A recent Registrant Insights Survey tapped into how registrants were adjusting to the changes introduced by the Professional Governance Act (PGA) and the organization’s new strategic plan, and how they felt the organization was performing as a regulator overall.

The Engineers and Geoscientists BC Awards recognize the exemplary and outstanding professional, technical, and volunteer contributions of BC’s engineers and geoscientists. This year's recipients will be presented with their awards at the Awards Gala at the 2023 Annual Conference on October 27.

Professional registrants are encouraged to complete the National Professional Practice Examination 2023 Blueprint Survey, designed to assess the knowledge of applicants for professional engineering or geoscience registration. The survey is now open and will close on October 11, 2023.

As part of Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s Continuing Education Program, practising registrants are required to complete a new Regulatory Learning Module every year. This year’s module focuses on how engineers and geoscientists can consider and address the impacts of climate change and sustainability in professional practice.
