The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of B.C. regulates and governs the professions under the authority of the Engineers and Geoscientists Act by setting and maintaining high academic, experience and professional practice standards for all members. Individuals licensed by APEGBC are the only persons permitted by law to undertake, and assume responsibility for, engineering and geoscience projects in the province of B.C.

	Committees The affairs of the Association are managed by Council and the Executive Director, supplemented by standing boards and committees, and ad hoc committees and task forces which may be established by Council from time to time.

	Secondary Professional Liability Insurance All Professional members of APEGBC are required to pay the annual SPLI ( Secondary Professional Liability Insurance ) premium. Read more about the SPLI here

	Engineers Without Borders Canada Engineers Without Borders Canada is a movement of professional engineers, students, overseas volunteer staff, and supporters across Canada. The organization’s aims are to create opportunities for rural Africans to improve their lives, to connect Canadians to Africa and to harness the skills and creativity of the Canadian engineering sector to bring about positive change in the world.
